Mecklenburg and the state line

Roof Measurement Reports in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte roof reports are a Piedmont shingle business with a state-line twist: a job in Fort Mill is South Carolina, and it still orders like any other United States address. The measurement does not stop at the Mecklenburg county line.

Growth roofs and older canopy

Ballantyne, Huntersville, Matthews, and the other growth areas are architectural-shingle hips on relatively open lots. Dilworth, Myers Park, and similar older streets have heavier tree cover and more complicated roofs. Tropical remnants and ordinary thunderstorms both show up in the weather story. We do not rank which storm was worse, and we do not inventory missing tabs.

Downtown and South End have low-slope commercial roofs that should be a commercial SKU. A bank tower is not a product we are special for. If you can pin the address and we can see the roof, we can measure it. If it is a curtain-wall high rise with a small mechanical penthouse, say what you want measured.

The South Carolina side of the metro

Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Indian Land are not on the North Carolina hub, because that hub is about North Carolina. They are still inside our United States coverage. Order them here the same way. Do not expect a Charlotte page to explain South Carolina building code. We do not explain North Carolina’s either, beyond this: wind design is generally a bigger coastal issue than a Piedmont one, and our file is not a code worksheet.

Red clay stains concrete. It does not stain the square count. Leave site photos for the conditions and use the PDF for area and pitch.

What to buy

Open suburban gables and simple hips can start at the $16.20 Bid Report. Older cut-up roofs and anything you will propose from should be Premium at $21.83. The North Carolina hub covers the coast and the mountains, which do not look like Charlotte. Atlanta is the canopy comparison if you work both Piedmont cities. The clock is 30–60 minutes.

Questions

Do you measure Fort Mill and Rock Hill?

Yes. Those are South Carolina addresses, and we accept United States addresses nationwide. They are not part of the North Carolina state page.

Is Charlotte a coastal wind zone?

No. Charlotte is Piedmont. Coastal wind design is a different North Carolina problem, and we do not produce code worksheets for either.

Can you measure a South End commercial roof?

Use a commercial product starting at $44.10, and pin the correct building.

How fast is the PDF?

Most Charlotte orders are delivered 30–60 minutes after payment, same as the rest of the country.
