Gulf parishes and the north
Roof Measurement Reports in Louisiana
Louisiana roof measurement reports start in New Orleans and should not stay there. Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport do not live under slate and shotguns. None of them get a flood-elevation certificate from us.
New Orleans is its own page
The New Orleans page covers shotguns, slate, low-slope roofs, suburban Metairie shingles, and the line between wind geometry and flood paperwork. Read it for Orleans and Jefferson. Do not apply Quarter lot advice to a Shreveport subdivision.
River cities, Acadiana, and the north
Baton Rouge mixes suburban shingles, some metal, and low-slope commercial roofs, with hurricane and heavy-rain exposure and a housing stock that is mostly not historic slate. Lafayette and the Acadiana region are similar, with metal more visible on porches and rural buildings. A porch roof at a different pitch from the house is worth a note so it is not averaged into one number you cannot order from. Lake Charles and the coastal parishes take storm damage more directly. We still do not sign wind or flood forms. North Louisiana, including Shreveport, looks more like the Ark-La-Tex: shingle suburbs, storm hail and wind, less salt, fewer shotguns. Order those addresses without expecting a second city essay.
Tarps after a landfall make imagery lie. Say the roof changed. If we cannot see a surface, the refund is the product, not a guessed diagram. Subsidence and street flooding are not square-count inputs.
Prices from the Gulf to the Arkansas line
They do not move. $16.20 and $21.83 for houses, commercial from $44.10. Houston is the westward Gulf comparison, useful if a crew bids both sides of the Sabine and needs the same PDF habits. Delivery is 30–60 minutes on a standard visible roof, statewide and nationwide.

Questions
Do you measure Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport?
Yes. New Orleans is the only Louisiana city page. The rest of the state orders on the same form.
Will the report determine flood zone?
No. Flood zones, elevation certificates, and wind-versus-flood decisions are not in the measurement.
Are coastal parishes priced higher after a hurricane?
No. Premium stays $21.83. A tarped roof we cannot see is refunded, not surcharged.
Do you measure slate roofs?
We measure area when the outline is visible. We do not certify slate condition or historic-district compliance. That limit is spelled out on the New Orleans page.
