Roof Measurement Reports in Illinois

Illinois roof measurement reports are a Chicago problem and a downstate problem. Bungalows, flat additions, and alley garages do not describe a Central Illinois farmhouse. The checkout does not care which one you pin.

Chicago and the collar counties

The Chicago page is the detailed one: bungalows, two-flats, greystones as a wall issue, lakefront snow, and the garage note. Naperville and the other collar suburbs are on that form too. Use the city page if the roof is in the metro. This hub is for the contrast with the rest of Illinois.

Downstate and the Metro East

Central and southern Illinois are shingle houses, tornado and hail risk, and agricultural metal buildings on open ground. Imagery is usually kinder than a Chicago alley. Scope is the failure mode: include the shop only if you say so. A downstate ranch with one gable is a reasonable Basic order. A campus of grain bins and a house is not one roof, and we will not invent a combined square footage for “the farm.” The Metro East, across from St. Louis, shares more with that city’s older housing than with a Loop bungalow. There is no Springfield or Champaign page. Order the address.

We do not pull City of Chicago permits, and we do not pull downstate permits either. Flat commercial roofs in any of these cities are a commercial product. Drainage certification is not included.

Price and winter

Statewide prices are $16.20 and $21.83. Snow can hide a Chicago roof or a downstate roof; both are refunded when the edges disappear. Missouri covers the St. Louis side of the river. Delivery is 30–60 minutes when there is something to measure.
