Roof Measurement Reports in North Carolina

North Carolina roof measurement reports split cleanly into coast, Piedmont, and mountains. Charlotte is the city page. The Outer Banks and Asheville are not Charlotte with a different noun.

Piedmont first, because that is the city page

Charlotte covers Mecklenburg shingles, older canopy, and the fact that Fort Mill is South Carolina. The rest of the Piedmont, including Raleigh and the Triad, has no city page and the same general shingle stock. Thunderstorms and the occasional tropical remnant are the weather. Wind-design worksheets are not included for the Piedmont or for anywhere else.

Coast and mountains

Wilmington, the Outer Banks, and the rest of the coast take hurricanes more directly. Houses are often shingle or metal, on lots where flood zones matter to the owner and do not appear in our PDF. Barrier-island roofs can be small and close together; pin carefully. Asheville and the western counties add slope, some snow, and roofs in shade. Steeper mountain roofs are where one predominant pitch on a Basic report is most likely to be too crude. Choose Premium when the planes obviously differ.

We do not explain the state residential code or a local wind-borne debris map. Your building department does. We report area and pitch so you can estimate.

Price and delivery do not follow the regions

A Wilmington roof and a Raleigh roof are $16.20 or $21.83. Commercial SKUs start at $44.10. The 30–60 minute guarantee is the same one used in every other state we serve, which is the United States wherever imagery is clear. After a coastal landfall, tarps beat bravado: tell us, or accept a refund if the surface is gone.

Questions

Do you measure the Outer Banks and Asheville?

Yes. Only Charlotte has a city page. Coastal and mountain addresses order directly when the roof is visible.

Do you produce North Carolina wind-zone worksheets?

No. The report is geometry. Wind design and flood zones are separate work.

Is a South Carolina suburb of Charlotte on this hub?

It can be ordered, because we serve the United States. It is not a North Carolina address, and the Charlotte page says so.

What is the price?

Residential reports are $16.20 for Basic and $21.83 for Premium in every region of the state.
